About Redfield Snowmobile Association
Welcome to the on-line home of the Redfield Snowmobile Association.
Our club was formed over 40 years ago and still continues to grow with over 700 members. The Town of Redfield is located to the 'lee' of Lake Ontario, giving us over 250 inches of snow annually. Our nearly 50 mile trail system connects to trails in Lewis, Oneida, Oswego, and Jefferson counties. We are a totally voluntary organization and appreciate your interest and support. Our trails open one week after Northern Zone hunting season closes - snow conditions permitting. Ride safely; respect the trail surface and our landowners - without them there would be no trails. We are proud members of the Oswego County Snowmobile Association and the New York State Snowmobile Association.
TRAILS - 2/26/2020
Warm and rain the last few days has hurt our trails. As much as 4 feet of snow is in the forecast over the next 3 days. If we do get feet of snow, it will take a couple days to get the trails broken open, cleared of blow downs, and groomed. Be alert for groomers on the trails during the day if this happens and give them room to work.
We have no scheduled workdays for January, February or March. From now until spring work projects, trimming, sign replacement, grooming, and groomer repairs will continue on an as needed basis. Contact any of our board members or regular volunteers to keep involved and help our team with any areas you see a need or are able to lend a hand.
Our Annual December membership meeting was held on Saturday December 7th at the Redfield Municipal Building. Membership attendance was disappointingly light. Our next Membership meeting and election of officers and directors will be held on Saturday March 28th at the Redfield Municipal Building.
